When you book a FestiveLights installation, removal and storage are already included in your flat seasonal price. After the holidays we return on a scheduled date, carefully remove every clip, strand and stake, and store your custom-cut set so it's ready to reinstall next year — often faster the second time around because the design is already mapped to your home.

Plenty of Calgary homeowners put their own lights up in a burst of December enthusiasm and then dread the January ladder trip in the cold. If that's you, we offer standalone removal: our insured crew takes your lights down safely, coils them properly so they're not a tangled mess next year, and can box them for you. It's the easiest way to get them down without risking an icy ladder yourself.

When do you take lights down?

Most Calgary homeowners like their lights up through the new year and removed in January once the holidays wind down — though we'll work to your preference. We schedule takedowns through January and into February, weather permitting. Booking your removal date early means you're not waiting in the post-holiday rush.
